Job Title: Bid Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bid Manager to join our team at ABM. As a Bid Manager, you will be responsible for writing and managing bids for various sectors, including public and private sectors, transportation, distribution, and historic buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write compelling and succinct responses to customer PQQs, ITTs, and RFPs.
  • Work closely with the business development team and specialists to create high-quality bids.
  • Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft's collaborative working tools.
  • Build positive internal relationships to collate and gather information in response to questions.
  • Organise layout and work within the confines of each customer's bid requirements.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written English.
  • Proven, successful bid-writing experience from within the public or private sectors.
  • Eye for detail.
  • Proactive attitude.
  • Ability to present information visually.
  • Time management and planning.
  • IT skills: Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office styles.
