Role Overview: We are in search of a dedicated Community Engagement Specialist to become part of our team. The successful applicant will be instrumental in building connections with youth, families, and the broader community to promote well-being and academic achievement. This position calls for a compassionate individual with strong interpersonal capabilities and a dedication to nurturing positive connections.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and sustain constructive relationships with youth, families, and community stakeholders.
  • Offer assistance and resources to youth and families to meet their academic, social, and emotional requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with educational staff and external organizations to synchronize support services.
  • Conduct home visits and participate in community gatherings as necessary.
  • Plan and engage in outreach initiatives and workshops.
  • Keep precise records and documentation of outreach efforts.


Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in social services, education, or a related discipline.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a dependable vehicle.
  • Business insurance for your vehicle (required for home visits and outreach activities).
