Role OverviewLocation: Thatcham, Berkshire
Salary: £37,075 - £43,063 plus a comprehensive benefits package.

This role is designed to assist the Facilities Manager in executing daily Facilities Management (FM) operations. The successful candidate will work collaboratively and independently to deliver exceptional service to SSE colleagues and visitors while ensuring the effective provision of high-quality FM services.
Responsibilities will encompass various FM functions, including Front of House duties, reception tasks, administrative support, maintenance coordination, stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, contractor management, and the generation of FM-related reports.
The postholder will also step in for the Facilities Manager during their absence, ensuring continuity in service delivery.
This position requires travel to different sites to maintain FM services across the organization. A valid driving license is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
As a member of the FM Team, adhere to FM protocols to guarantee optimal service for site occupants.
Meet established targets and timelines while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Achieve audit objectives and maintain a positive stakeholder experience. Address complaints and feedback effectively and promptly.
Ensure adherence to SSE's safety and health standards, promoting safe practices for both the FM team and external contractors.
Conduct site safety and contractor audits, monitor actions, and advocate for SSE's safety culture.
Qualifications:
Minimum IWFM level 3 or equivalent experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Office 365, Teams, and CAFM systems (Planon).
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
