Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated individual to support the Facilities Manager in the effective management of daily Facilities Management (FM) operations.

This role requires both teamwork and independent initiative to ensure exceptional service delivery to all SSE staff and visitors, while assisting in various FM functions.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Front of House and reception duties, including administrative tasks.
  • Conducting audits and organizing maintenance activities.
  • Providing outstanding customer service and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Resolving disputes and overseeing contractor management.
  • Generating FM-related reports and assisting with office relocations.
  • Coordinating car park management and catering services.

The successful candidate will also act as a deputy for the Facilities Manager during their absence, ensuring continuity in service delivery.

This role involves travel to various sites to maintain FM services across the organization, and a valid driving license is required.


Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to FM procedures, delivering optimal customer service to all site occupants.
  • Meet established targets and timelines while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Maintain high-quality stakeholder interactions and effectively address any complaints or negative feedback.
  • Conduct safety audits and promote SSE's safety culture and policies.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of IWFM level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CAFM systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • A valid driving license.
