Senior Accounts Assistant

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client in Thatcham as a Senior Accounts Assistant. Please note, this is 9-month fixed term contract. Driving licence and own transport is essential due to the location of the client.

As the Senior Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Application of output VAT on different supplies and interpretation of VAT legislation
  • Accounting processes for sales ledger and nominal ledger
  • Month-end processes
  • Journal processing
  • Any other tasks as required by the finance department

The successful Senior Accounts Assistant will have the following related skills / experience:

  • AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified (would consider qualified by experience)

  • Experience of accounting functions and strong numeracy skills
