Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Systems Architect to join our team at Thales Group. As a Digital Systems Architect, you will be responsible for defining and recommending candidate architectures for our digital systems, ensuring they meet stakeholder expectations and align with our business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and Recommend Architectures: Develop and recommend digital system architectures that meet stakeholder expectations and align with our business strategy.
  • Establish Solution Architecture: Establish the solution architecture by making trade-offs between stakeholder expectations, technical and technological solutions, costs, risks, and schedule.
  • Manage Technical Requirements: Manage technical requirements flow-down and implementation from customer to sub-systems.
  • Work with Engineering Team: Work within the engineering team to accomplish engineering activities to time, budget, and quality.
  • Contribute to Engineering Plans: Contribute to and write Engineering Plans, Technical Specifications, Interface Documents, Test Plans, and Technical Reports.
  • Ensure Design Certification: Ensure that design certification for contract requirements and appropriate legislation, including product safety, is performed correctly.
  • Understand Project Actors: Understand the different actors involved in projects with the ability to contextualise and change the perspective.
  • Self-Motivated and Team Player: Self-motivated and capable of working alone & with teams.
  • Requirements Management Tool: IBM DOORS or an equivalent requirements management tool.
  • Analogue and Digital Circuit Design: Knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design (Desirable).
