Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Systems Architect to join our team at Thales Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for defining and recommending candidate architectures for our defence systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage technical requirements flow-down and implementation from customer to sub-systems.
  • Work within the scope of our company's processes and the system engineering management plan.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to accomplish engineering activities to time, budget, and quality.
  • Contribute to and write engineering plans, technical specifications, interface documents, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Ensure design certification for contract requirements and appropriate legislation, including product safety.
  • Understand the different actors involved in projects and be able to contextualise and change perspective.
  • Be self-motivated and capable of working alone and with teams.
  • Have knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design.

Requirements:

  • IBM DOORS or an equivalent requirements management tool.
