Job Description:

**IT SaaS Vendor Management Lead**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT SaaS Vendor Management Lead to join our team at Proactive Appointments. As a key member of our IT Business Management Department, you will be responsible for delivering business outcomes through our strategic vendor relationships.

Main Responsibilities:
  • **Oversee SaaS Vendor Performance**: Develop and manage supplier relationships to protect our clients' interests and ensure costs reflect fair market value.
  • **Develop and Maintain SaaS Assurance Models**: Support areas such as Information Security, Compliance, and Data Governance for vendors within the allocated portfolio.
  • **Negotiate Commercial Terms**: Ensure beneficial outcomes for our clients and their customers through negotiation of commercial terms for strategic IT contracts.
  • **Provide Subject Matter Input**: Facilitate commercial terms discussions and value of contracts alongside or supporting the Central Procurement Team as appropriate.
  • **Maintain Awareness of Innovation**: Translate market opportunities into strategic outcomes for our clients.
Requirements:
  • **Demonstrable Experience**: Managing SaaS vendors across the Financial Services Market.
  • **Experience in Setting Up and Maintaining SaaS Assurance Models**: Including understanding of Identity Access Management, Data Loss Prevention, and Infrastructure Security.
  • **Understanding of Compliance and Governance Standards**: Including PRA S2/21 and ISO27001:2022.
  • **Proven Experience**: Dealing with IT contracts with complex provisions and clauses, with a good understanding of how to discuss and negotiate contract financial terms.
  • **Understanding of Azure Cloud Platforms**: Advantageous.
  • **Proven Ability to Negotiate and Deal with Stakeholders**: Both internal and external to the organisation, with the ability to test and challenge business assumptions.
