Job Title: Strategic SaaS Vendor Management Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Strategic SaaS Vendor Management Lead to join our IT Business Management Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering business outcomes through our strategic vendor relationships, ensuring these relationships deliver on value and customer outcomes in line with our objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee SaaS Vendor Performance: Develop and manage supplier relationships to protect our clients' interests and ensure costs reflect fair market value.
  • Develop and Maintain SaaS Assurance Models: Support areas such as Information Security, Compliance, and Data Governance.
  • Negotiate Commercial Terms: Ensure beneficial outcomes for our clients and their customers.
  • Provide Subject Matter Input: Facilitate commercial terms discussions and value of contracts alongside or supporting the Central Procurement Team as appropriate.
  • Maintain Awareness of Innovation: Translate market opportunities into strategic outcomes for our clients.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable Experience: Managing SaaS vendors across the Financial Services Market.
  • Experience in Setting Up and Maintaining SaaS Assurance Models: Including Identity Access Management, Data Loss Prevention, and Infrastructure Security.
  • Understanding of Compliance and Governance Standards: Including PRA S2/21 and ISO27001:2022.
  • Proven Experience: Dealing with IT contracts with complex provisions and clauses, with a good understanding of how to discuss and negotiate contract financial terms.
  • Understanding of Azure Cloud Platforms: Advantageous.
  • Proven Ability: Negotiating and dealing with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation.
