**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our Packing department on afternoon shift. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the service we provide to our customers is of exceptional quality.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Deliver line/area productivity and efficiency targets, resolving problems and issues as they arise
* Continuously monitor raw materials/ingredients, operational processes, and the production environment to ensure compliance with food safety manufacturing standards
* Monitor the effectiveness of machinery and equipment, highlighting trends and issues to ensure asset performance is consistent and reliable
* Promote a good health, safety, and environmental culture within the department
* Perform first-line maintenance and basic Plan Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
* Assist engineers with breakdowns and provide training to operational staff
* Basic fault finding and prevention of breakdowns

**Requirements:**

* Ideally worked in manufacturing previously
* Experience delegating tasks to a team
* Good level of English and Math's
* Technically minded and computer literate
* Attention to detail and ability to work unsupervised
* Good communication skills
* Can-do attitude and willingness to help the team in times of demand
* Basic understanding of health & Safety and Food Hygiene (although training will be given)
