We are seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team at Greencore Warrington. As a key member of our Packing department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality products are produced and delivered to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver line/area productivity and efficiency targets, resolving problems and issues as they arise.
- Monitor raw materials/ingredients, operational processes, and the production environment to ensure compliance with food safety manufacturing standards.
- Monitor the effectiveness of machinery and equipment, highlighting trends and issues to ensure asset performance is consistent and reliable.
- Promote a good health, safety, and environmental culture within the department, completing near miss reporting and promoting a safe working environment.
- Perform first-line maintenance and basic Plan Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
- Assist engineers with breakdowns and provide training to operational staff.
- Previous experience in manufacturing is ideal.
- Experience delegating tasks to a team.
- Good level of English and Math skills.
- Technically minded and computer literate.
- Attention to detail and ability to work unsupervised.
- Good communication skills.
- Can-do attitude and willingness to help the team in times of demand.
- Basic understanding of health & Safety and Food Hygiene (training will be provided).
