About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at oilandgas. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and successful installation and commissioning of our building management control systems in data centres.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Commissioning: Ensure that control panels and field devices are properly configured and tested before commissioning.
  • Commissioning: Commission controllers, networks, and field devices into a complete control system, ensuring seamless integration with third-party systems.
  • Software Development: Write and commission controller software through to the Graphical User Interface, ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Handover and Training: Handover and demonstrate the completed system to customers and consultants, providing comprehensive training and support.
  • Installation Management: Design and manage installations with the support of Project Managers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing expert advice and support to ensure their complete satisfaction.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document commissioning progress, site reports, and assist with O&M manuals, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.

About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commissioning Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering or a related field. You will have a proven track record of working in a customer-focused environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also have a strong understanding of the principles of controls for HVAC and experience with Microsoft Office programs.
