We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at East Kootenay Regional Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients, enhancing their quality of life and supporting their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized nursing care to ICU patients, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Enhance patient and family well-being through education, support, and advocacy.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice to advance nursing care.
- Maintain and advance your clinical competence through ongoing education and professional development.
- Contribute to hospital committees and research projects as assigned.
Our 6-bed ICU at East Kootenay Regional Hospital is a dynamic and supportive environment, staffed with experienced RNs and RTs. We provide 24/7 care, with access to a full range of medical specialties and services. Our hospital serves over 80,000 patients annually, offering a diverse and challenging work environment.
