Main Responsibilities:

  • Internal:
    • Develop site-specific marketing materials, including brochures and supporting documents for land bids.
    • Create high-quality templates for external documents, such as planning strategies, marketing strategies, and cost reports.
    • Refresh and update marketing materials, including existing brochures and creating new ones.
  • External:
    • Develop and implement online and offline advertising strategies, including magazine ads.
    • Plan and execute events, conferences, and trade shows.
    • Research and propose membership in relevant organizations and develop engagement strategies.
    • Research and propose events for participation and develop strategies for maximum impact.
    • Maintain and improve the company website, including news pages.
    • Liaise with corporate PR consultants to develop social media strategies and manage social media pages.
    • Monitor competitors' marketing activities and identify opportunities for growth.
    • Manage the marketing budget and provide regular reporting on activity and costs.
  • Support to Planning Team:
    • Assist with local plan representatives, formatting documents.
    • Coordinate public consultation events, including preparation and printing of materials, letter/leaflet drops, and presentations to external stakeholders.
    • Post positive planning news on social media outlets in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in marketing and business development.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of the planning system and housing marketing is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent writing skills and experience in producing marketing collateral.
  • Experience in writing social media posts.
  • Experience in using graphic design software.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • UK driving license.
