Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Transport Hub Admin Assistant at Manpower UK - RISE. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our transport hub.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Management: Issue and manage paperwork to drivers, including sense-checking and producing or retrieving further documentation as required.
  • Troubleshooting and Decision Making: Troubleshoot issues, make key decisions, and liaise with relevant departments as necessary.
  • Record Keeping: Record comments and issues against individual jobs, transport runs, and controlled spreadsheets.
  • Communication: Communicate with various departments to pass on information or retrieve answers.
  • Paperwork Retrieval and Filing: Retrieve paperwork from drivers, sort, and file as required.
  • Site Key Control: Adhere to site key control policy and procedures.
  • YMS Integration: Liaise with YMS to successfully attach and detach trailers and rigids to run references and units to trailers, ready for successful departure from site.
  • Front Desk and Driver's Waiting Area: Control the front desk window and driver's waiting area.
  • Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance: Record and report vehicle and equipment defects, coordinating VOR requirements.
  • Vehicle Repair and Recovery: Arrange vehicle repair call-outs and recoveries as required.
  • Equipment Management: Control issuing and recording of equipment, from PPE to palm couplings.
  • Customer Service: Answer incoming internal and external calls.
  • Visitor Management: Control visiting drivers unconnected to a department, such as maintenance, facilities, etc.

Requirements:

  • Strong Admin and Communication Skills: Successful candidates will have strong admin and communication skills and be computer literate.
  • Contract and Full-Time Opportunities: This role offers both contract and full-time opportunities.
  • Competitive Hourly Rate: The hourly rate for this role is up to £11.99 per hour, paid weekly every Friday.
