Job Title: Transport Controller

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Controller to join our team at HSS Hire. As a key member of our Transport team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating daily deliveries, exchanges, and collections through our routing system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate daily transport operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.
  • Monitor transport routes, smart phone compliance, and on-time performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Reduce wasted journeys and optimize routes to minimize costs and environmental impact.
  • Provide updates to internal and external customers on transport operations and any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Positive can-do attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with computers and systems, preferably in a transport or logistics role.
  • Customer-facing experience in a similar role.
