Key Responsibilities:

  • Booking containers in and out of the container yard, maintaining a professional demeanor with customers, colleagues, and drivers
  • Ensuring timely and accurate entry of release/acceptance information into the system
  • Auditing release/acceptances to guarantee accuracy
  • Correctly recording container numbers in and out of the system
  • Utilizing CCTV for recording purposes when booking in/out
  • Seeking additional work from current customers and management
  • Effective communication with the customer base, understanding requirements, and providing accurate information on time
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve common goals
  • Maintaining high standards of good housekeeping, including the workstation and environment
  • Ensuring health and safety standards are met, and reporting observations and concerns

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Previous experience in Transport or a similar environment (preferred but not essential)
  • Competent IT skills
  • Clear communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Highly personable and able to work well in a team
  • Great attention to detail
