About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Wellbeing Manager to join our team at Serco. As a key member of our management team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our health and wellbeing strategy across our leisure facilities.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement targeted health and wellbeing initiatives that promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles among local communities.
- Work closely with key stakeholders, including local authorities, healthcare providers, and community organizations, to ensure effective partnerships and collaborations.
- Contribute to the development of strategic plans and budgets to support the delivery of health and wellbeing services.
- Network and build relationships with key stakeholders, including Integrated Care Systems, allied health professionals, and social care services, to promote our services and identify opportunities for collaboration.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in health and wellbeing, and apply this knowledge to inform our service delivery and strategic planning.
- Work with our Business Development Team to develop and submit bids for funding opportunities that support our health and wellbeing services.
- Collaborate with our operations team to ensure the effective delivery of health and wellbeing services across our leisure facilities.
Requirements
- Hold a degree in a relevant field, such as health, wellbeing, or leisure management, and have significant experience in a similar role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful health and wellbeing initiatives, with a focus on community engagement and partnership working.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Hold a UK driving license and be willing to travel as required.
