Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be tasked with cultivating and enhancing strategic partnerships with key regional employers and organizations, aiming to establish a robust pipeline of sustainable employment opportunities. Your focus will be on expanding employment sectors to uncover new prospects while adapting to the evolving market landscape.

You will also provide direct support and leadership to a team of Regional Account Managers, ensuring the successful execution of the Employer Engagement Strategy within your designated area.

  • Inspire, support, and oversee the performance of Regional Account Managers to achieve and surpass performance benchmarks while adhering to compliance, quality, and health & safety standards.
  • Facilitate the professional growth of team members through regular evaluations and feedback.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with key employer partners to guarantee the identification and sharing of quality employment opportunities for participants.
  • Compile accurate forecasts, performance metrics, and employer insights to assist the Head of Employer Engagement and other internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and take ownership of regional sector strategies aligned with the national employer engagement framework.
  • Gather and disseminate market intelligence from key employer partners to inform and enhance the role of the LMI analyst.
  • Identify, engage, and manage significant employer relationships within specific sectors to become the preferred recruitment partner.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities to ensure alignment with employer needs.
  • Provide expert guidance on workforce planning and training needs analysis.
  • Collaborate on designing employment pathways to meet current and future recruitment demands.
  • Encourage employer participation as part of the structured customer journey.
  • Assist the Head of Employer Engagement and Director of Employer Engagement in managing key accounts with Strategic/National partners.
  • Work alongside the Employer Collaboration Lead to engage and support local partner organizations.
  • Act as an advocate for customers requiring additional support, facilitating workplace adjustments.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure candidates meet employer expectations and are well-prepared for employment transitions.
  • Maintain an understanding of job requirements and ensure alignment of employment and candidate pipelines with future opportunities.
  • Share market insights to identify and address potential barriers to employment.
  • Support internal teams in preparing candidates through a comprehensive understanding of job specifications.
  • Ensure meticulous record-keeping of activities and performance within our CRM and other systems.
  • Adhere to Maximus policies and procedures to maintain compliance and achieve audit success.
  • Meet individual and team objectives to contribute to the overall success of Maximus.
  • Assist new team members through mentorship and support.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Possess a Level 4 Diploma in Business Management or equivalent experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the sales process and key account management.
  • Demonstrated experience in a sales environment, particularly in relationship selling with medium to large enterprises.
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record of exceeding sales and performance targets.
  • Familiarity with the local labor market and established relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience in a similar role within the Welfare to Work or Employability sector is advantageous.
  • Strong networking abilities and proficiency in building and maintaining local relationships.
  • Effective leadership and interpersonal skills, particularly in listening, questioning, and relationship-building.
  • Proven capability as an effective leader in a performance-driven setting.
  • Adept at prioritizing and problem-solving independently while promoting business efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills with a persuasive approach and strong telephone etiquette.
  • Negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
