Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at SEIMAF UK. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering and managing technical studies, designing mechanical processes, and providing technical expertise to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and manage technical studies related to mechanical handling, powder technologies, and glovebox operations.
  • Design and develop mechanical processes, from strategic and conceptual phases to detailed design and construction commissioning phase support.
  • Provide technical expertise to our clients, including technical specification documentation review from supply chain.
  • Collaborate with our team to deliver projects for Sellafield and Magnox sites.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working on UK nuclear sites.
  • Member of relevant professional body.
  • Demonstrable experience of engineering design and team management in the nuclear industry.
  • Recognised Subject Matter Expert (SME).
