PART TIME ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT / PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK
Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 (Pro-rata for part-time hours)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as a Part Time Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger Clerk. This role is ideal for someone looking to work between 21 to 28 hours per week, with flexibility in scheduling across 3 to 5 days.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger Clerk, your primary duties will include:
1. Processing purchase invoices and ensuring they are matched with Purchase Orders and stock.
2. Preparing monthly payment runs and conducting bank and supplier reconciliations.
3. Addressing supplier inquiries and managing the new supplier onboarding process, including necessary anti-fraud checks.
4. Assisting with the preparation of supplier payment runs for managerial approval.
5. Supporting the Sales Ledger and Bank Reconciliation tasks as required.
6. In the future, you may also assist with employee expenses and credit card statement processing.

Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Purchase Ledger Clerk, or Accounts Payable role.
- Familiarity with Purchase Ledger functions.
- AAT qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in accounting systems; experience with Dynamics365 or MS Business Central is a plus.
