Logistics Coordinator

Full Time, Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm Are you a meticulous and proactive professional with a background in global logistics, procurement, and administrative support? Our client, a reputable organization, is on the lookout for a Logistics Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate international freight movements, ensuring adherence to legal standards and documentation protocols.
- Communicate effectively with freight service providers, shipping companies, and customs agents to guarantee prompt delivery.
- Monitor and track shipments, addressing any challenges that may occur during transportation.
- Manage the handling, packaging, and documentation of hazardous materials.
- Prepare and oversee import and export paperwork.
- Execute general administrative tasks, including data management, filing, and correspondence.
- Source materials and supplies, negotiating costs and managing purchase orders.
- Collaborate with colleagues and international branches to facilitate seamless operations and communication.
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance team productivity and operational processes.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in international logistics is essential, with additional experience in procurement being advantageous.
- Familiarity with ERP systems relevant to logistics and procurement.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication abilities and capacity to perform well under pressure.
- Willingness to engage at all levels and actively participate in team discussions.

Working Conditions:
- Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week.
- Standard working hours of 8.30am - 5pm with a 1-hour lunch break.
- Supportive and collaborative team environment.
- 22 days of holiday allowance plus bank holidays.
- Complimentary onsite parking.
