We're committed to making a significant impact through technology, and we're seeking a highly skilled Financial Collections Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Shared Services department, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks within the Invoice to Cash function, Accounts Receivable, and Month End Closing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting customer payments through regular communication and negotiation
  • Posting and allocating customer receipts
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer conversations and commitments
  • Escalating disputed debts to ensure prompt resolution
  • Verifying account discrepancies by investigating information from business units and customers
  • Resolving collections by analyzing customer payment plans, payment history, and credit
  • Corresponding with internal and external stakeholders
  • Leading regular statement reviews
  • Performing month-end activities, including accruals and reports
  • Contributing to the management of AR's relationships with key stakeholders
  • Assisting in the training and development of other staff
  • Adhering to financial process and account Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Making recommendations for process improvements and minimizing exceptions

Requirements:

  • Experience in an accounts receivable environment
  • Good understanding of finance systems
  • Computer literacy, with expertise in Microsoft Office Tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong sense of integrity and ability to work in a time-pressured environment
  • Highly energetic and self-motivated, with the ability to work individually or as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work shifts
  • Accounting qualification desirable
