Monarch Healthcare is seeking a Lead Care Support Specialist to become a vital part of our dedicated team. Our facility is committed to providing exceptional care and support to elderly individuals and those living with cognitive impairments.

In the role of Lead Care Support Specialist, you will be responsible for supervising care operations, guiding the care team by assigning responsibilities and ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained consistently.

Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care

Shift Schedule: 19:45-08:00

We welcome applications for both part-time and full-time positions. Our scheduling operates on a rotational basis, which includes alternate weekends and certain public holidays. The hourly wage is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities: This list is not exhaustive.

Assign staff to ensure a balanced skill set Manage the shift diary, liaising with external healthcare professionals as necessary, while assisting the Registered Nurse in updating and drafting risk assessments and care plans, ensuring all staff are informed of any modifications Facilitate communication between visitors and nursing staff Oversee medication management, coordinating with pharmacies, general practitioners, and mental health teams as required Provide personal care in accordance with clients' individual needs Support care staff with personal care, hydration and nutrition, pressure area management, and assessments. Offer leadership in care delivery to uphold high standards Conduct thorough checks on all relevant documentation to ensure accurate record-keeping Maintain regular communication with nursing staff throughout the shift Prepare verbal and written reports as necessary
