Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Events Duty Manager to lead the delivery and support of our exciting portfolio of upcoming events. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the set up and break down of events, ensuring all events run smoothly, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Delivery
    • Oversee the set up and break down of events, including weddings, functions, corporate, community, and production events.
    • Ensure all events run smoothly, and provide exceptional customer service to our guests.
    • Support event managers in delivering events, including deputizing for them when necessary.
  • Building Management
    • Ensure the Enable events buildings are presentable and fit for purpose, both pre and post events.
    • Manage the day-to-day duties, including cleaning, raising health and safety concerns, and reporting maintenance issues.
  • Visitor Service
    • Ensure all casual staff are trained, presentable, and motivated to provide 5-star customer service.
    • Provide all staff with the knowledge to confidently market and promote our services and events.
    • Ensure consistent up-to-date information is displayed throughout the building, and the Enable brand is presented professionally and clearly at all times.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to when on site.
    • Act as first aid and fire marshal, with training provided.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of event management.
  • Confidence to work independently and lead from the front.
  • Passion for creating and delivering unforgettable events.
  • Exceptionally high standards of customer service, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with senior management, other staff, clients, and members of the public.
  • Hands-on/proactive onsite and pride yourself on going the extra mile to create the best event possible.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Hold a full manual UK driving license.
