About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our team at Ki Insurance. As an Underwriter, you will play a key role in the decision-making process, helping to define, develop, and deliver the underwriting strategy to ensure profitable business is written.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Portfolio Management to focus on areas of the portfolio and review based on distribution partner and market feedback.
- Optimise the commercial lens of the algorithm by giving updates from the market, distribution partners, and competitors.
- Develop the revenue strategy with input from the algorithm's appetite to optimise revenue generation and business mix.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A track record of success in building and executing commercially viable strategies.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- In-depth knowledge of PI within the Lloyds market.
