About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Counter Fraud Litigation Specialist to join our team at Horwich Farrelly. As a leading provider of legal and handling services to the general insurance sector, we are committed to delivering exceptional results and solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Competently deal with a case load of predominantly hourly rate, litigated, non DA complex Fraud files within our case management system.
  • Run your own case load of complex motor fraud matters, ensuring that clients are confident that their legal affairs are dealt with in a professional and competent manner.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of the team, including compliance with MI reporting and Client Service Level Agreements.
  • Carry out Advocacy on applications and Case Management Conferences as and when required.
  • Retain up-to-date knowledge at all times through internal and external courses/seminars and feed back to Clients and other peers.
Requirements
  • Previous experience within a similar role handling a full and varied case load.
  • A knowledge or experience of Personal Injury Claims; preferably Defendant and/or previous experience working within the counter-fraud insurance sector.
  • An enthusiastic and self-motivated attitude with a desire to achieve and exceed targets combined with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to demonstrate initiative and creative problem-solving is desirable.
  • A strong work ethic and a committed team player.
