About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Band 5 nurse to join our team at Daisy Ward, a 21-bedded elective surgical ward at Hinchingbrooke Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of the ward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain clinical credibility and take a lead role in patient care.
  • Deliver evidence-based care and ensure patient safety.
  • Manage a team of staff and prioritize patient care.
  • Ensure timely referrals to the multidisciplinary team and effective discharge planning.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in guidelines and policies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
Person Specification

We are looking for a registered nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. Essential qualifications include a live NMC registration and evidence of professional development. Desirable qualifications include mentorship and ALERT/ILS certifications.
