Retail Transformation Director Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Transformation Director to lead our retail operations and drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to improve retail performance, enhance customer experience, and increase sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to management teams to ensure efficient and effective store operations.
  • Develop and implement creative marketing campaigns and strategies to promote products and drive sales.
  • Work closely with the Retail Director to monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying opportunities to improve operations and maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Bring best practices in retail operations to ensure our company outperforms its rivals.
  • Monitor and measure retail's overall performance against predetermined goals.
  • Support the development of retail budgets and ensure costs are controlled while generating enough revenues to meet set objectives.
  • Partner closely with Procurement Director and other staff to ensure all stores have the correct product assortment to achieve sales goals.
  • Work with the Retail Director to ensure appropriate staffing levels are in place across all stores.
  • Develop and lead the Retail Modernisation Programme across the Retail Division.
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership skills with proven change management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organisational skills.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of retail software applications including POS systems.
  • People management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate productively and ability to lead and influence in a team environment.
  • Business acumen, numerical agility and forward-thinking.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs.
  • Driving License.
