About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Sales and Business Development Director to join our team at Banner Lane. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue through strategic sales and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
  • Manage and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales and marketing campaigns, product launches, and other business initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and sales forecasts to ensure business growth and revenue targets are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to ensure Banner Lane remains competitive and innovative.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development, with a strong background in electronics component distribution and sales management.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Proficient in using Excel, Word, and CRM systems, with the ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
