About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Nurse to join our team at Operose Health. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our nursing team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the regional nursing, operational, and GP team members to ensure all targets are met in line with current guidelines and standards within national service frameworks.
  • Act within your professional boundaries to provide care for patients from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
  • Demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice.
  • Work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required.
  • Support the Regional Lead Nurse and act as a deputy as required to ensure a high level of quality and standards at all times.
  • Be involved with the implementation and monitoring of all clinical aspects by demonstrating clinical excellence in conjunction with the site clinical lead and assist with the implementation of any nursing/AHP redesign and quality strategies to ensure a high-quality nursing/AHP team.
Requirements
  • First-level UK registered nurse/Registered AHP with at least 2 years post-qualified experience.
  • Non-medical Prescriber.
  • Demonstrates sound evidence of academic links.
  • Extensive clinical experience in Primary Care Health settings and managing nursing teams.
  • Understanding of the Lead Role.

What We Offer
  • Annual salary of up to £48,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
  • 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays pro rata.
