Site Procurement Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Procurement Manager to join our team at Jonathan Lee Recruitment. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing purchasing strategies and processes to ensure optimal supplier performance and price management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a purchasing strategy to ensure the function is operating in line with the objectives of the business to add value, mitigate supply chain risk, and deliver cost savings.
  • Manage strategic supplier relationships and develop contracts, contractual relationships, and contract management to continuously improve the supply base's delivery of goods and services.
  • Lead a team to deliver the appropriate support to the business and work alongside the UK and group senior management team to contribute to overall business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in managing supplier contracts and purchasing strategies and processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, negotiate, and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the purchasing strategy.
  • Ownership of the purchasing policy, guidelines, and associated documents.
  • Procurement experience gained from a manufacturing/engineering environment.
  • Ideal MCIPS or high-level CIPS qualification.
