Job Title: Database Manager

Job Summary:

The Database Manager is a critical role within Understanding Recruitment NFP, responsible for managing and developing the organisation's database systems to support its fundraising and marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop the organisation's CRM system (Salesforce) to support fundraising and marketing activities.
  • Ensure data quality, compliance with regulations, and the effective use of data for insights and decision-making.
  • Oversee the technical aspects of the CRM system, including data integrity, system performance, and integration with other systems.
  • Work closely with fundraising teams to develop reporting and analysis tools to support income generation and supporter retention.
  • Manage a team responsible for database support and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing and developing CRM systems.
  • Strong understanding of data governance and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent technical skills, including data integrity and system performance.
  • Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with fundraising teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
