About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Project Worker to join our team at Sanctuary Supported Living. As a Night Project Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to children and young adults, empowering them to develop the skills necessary for independent living.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality person-centered support to enable and empower young people to develop daily living skills and social engagement.
  • Establish professional relationships with clients, using clear communication to promote independence and personal choice.
  • Assist clients in understanding and planning their support package, focusing on positive outcomes to maximize their potential.
  • Provide advocacy to support clients and their families, ensuring they maintain personal choice, privacy, and dignity.
  • Liaise with external agencies to ensure maximum support is delivered, enabling clients to access and maintain a level of integration within the community.
  • Manage the implementation of safeguarding principles and responsibilities, ensuring the safety of clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with vulnerable children and young adults.
  • Proven experience of working with relevant client groups.
  • Proven knowledge of key needs and services for relevant client groups.
  • Some knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Good understanding of written and spoken English.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate a positive and accepting approach to clients.
  • Ability to keep accurate records and communicate relevant information.
