Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to lead our Girls Super League, a fast-growing grassroots girls' league in London. As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the league across all three sites and will play a key role in shaping the league's long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • League Management: Manage the league's calendar fixtures, including referee assignments and allocation of pitch space.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including club leads, venue managers, and county FA colleagues.
  • Governance and Compliance: Ensure correct governance of the league, including compliance with FA rules and guidelines, implementation of disciplinary procedures, and safeguarding policies.
  • Team Management: Line manage the full-time league coordinator and part-time league assistants.
  • Growth Strategy: Develop and execute short and long-term growth strategies for the league.
  • Financial Management: Oversee league finances, produce budgets, and raise invoices.
  • Partnerships and Marketing: Work alongside the fundraising team to secure partnerships and sponsorships, and work alongside the marketing team to develop an effective marketing strategy.

Requirements:

  • A 2.1 or above from a top-ranked university.
  • A right to work in the UK.
  • 1 year + relevant commercial experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Attention to detail and highly organized.
  • An excellent team player, with an ability to work on your own initiative.
