Public Relations Manager - Baller League UK

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage media interactions and proactively identify opportunities for media exposure.
  • Design effective external communication plans that engage the intended audience.
  • Create and continuously refine communication resources.
  • Execute the communication framework for Baller League.
  • Organize public relations events, including press briefings, discussion panels, and promotional shoots.
  • Establish and nurture robust connections with media organizations, influencers, and other pertinent stakeholders across various sectors.
  • Work in tandem with the content and digital teams to develop engaging narratives in diverse formats and outline distribution methods across different channels.

Required Qualifications

  • Driven professional with a thorough grasp of communication principles and the capability to oversee a variety of projects, encompassing sports and entertainment initiatives, as well as corporate and internal communications.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the proficiency to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Experience collaborating with both traditional and digital media, along with institutions on a national and international scale.
  • Self-starter and well-organized, ensuring the effective execution of communication goals for the local business unit.
  • Educational qualifications in Communication, Journalism, or Public Relations.
  • Innovative thinker with a social perspective, adept at uncovering stories, maintaining consistent media relations, and working cooperatively to secure extensive and high-quality media exposure in targeted outlets.
  • Outstanding writing and editing skills.
  • Skilled in developing presentations and visual documents for reporting and internal planning.
