Role Overview:
The Finance Manager for Global Agency TDC in Commercial FP&A will spearhead the Net Margin Team, providing Corporate Finance, Commercial leaders, and Finance Business Partners with a comprehensive overview of business performance. This role involves analyzing current financial data, forecasting future trends, and conducting long-term planning to enhance understanding of business unit performance, operations, market dynamics, customer behaviors, competitive landscape, and associated risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Net Margin FP&A Team, which includes 3 direct reports (2 Senior Finance Analysts and one Intern), managing global agency cost of revenue reporting.
- Direct the Net Margin financial closing and the Budget/Forecast processes.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure financial results are accurately recorded in line with Travelport policies.
- Monitor and report on Net Margin budgets, forecasts, and variances from prior years, addressing any discrepancies with detailed commentary.
- Ensure accuracy in customer reporting at the end of the month and at the cost center level.
- Compile and distribute customer profitability reports (mid-month and end of month).
- Engage with Corporate FP&A regarding current performance, forecasts, and long-term planning initiatives.
- Compile, complete, and conduct in-depth analysis of the Net Margin Budget Submission.
- Act as a key stakeholder in the development of planning systems and processes.
- Support strategic projects on an ad-hoc basis as required.
Candidate Profile:
- A proactive individual with a curious mindset, capable of driving value and mobilizing teams within a matrix environment.
- Possesses strong strategic finance and analytical skills, ideally with experience in FP&A.
- Able to communicate complex financial issues effectively to key stakeholders.
- Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt their approach to different individuals.
- Ideally qualified or pursuing a professional qualification (CIMA or ACCA).
