Deputy Head of Revenues and Benefits Operations

PSPS (Public Sector Partnership Services) is seeking an experienced and ambitious Deputy Head of Revenues and Benefits to lead our dynamic and dedicated operational teams.
Job SummaryThe Deputy Head of Revenues and Benefits, Operations is responsible for the leadership, management, and direction of our day-to-day operations, delivering:
- Council Tax
- Business Rates
- Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support
- Sundry Debtor and Housing Benefit overpayment recovery
As part of the Senior Management Team, the Deputy Head of Revenues and Benefits, Operations will play a major role in helping to define and lead future strategy and development of the service and for managing change to achieve maximum benefits whilst delivering high performance standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Revenues and Benefits service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our customers
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service efficiency and effectiveness
- Manage and develop a team of staff, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver excellent service
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication
- Monitor and report on service performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary
