About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to join our team at Evelina London Children's Hospital. As a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering, developing, and evaluating clinical pharmacy services to paediatric services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver, develop, and evaluate clinical pharmacy services to paediatric services in accordance with the objectives set by the Lead Pharmacists.
  • Act as a role model in the paediatric pharmacy field and provide a consistently high pharmaceutical service for paediatric areas.
  • Contribute to the monitoring of clinical pharmacy services and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement clinical pharmacy services to advance the safe, clinically effective, and cost-efficient use of drugs in paediatric patients.
  • Participate in the clinical training of ward pharmacists and identify own training needs.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical pharmacy services and ensure a broad base of pharmaceutical knowledge.

About Us

Evelina London Children's Hospital is part of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. Our hospital includes 151 inpatient beds, a 46-cot neonatal unit, and a full children's imaging service with MRI scanner, x-ray, and ultrasound.

Requirements

  • Clinical experience in paediatric medicine and surgery.
  • Previous experience in delivering training and education.
  • Experience of multidisciplinary health services working.
  • Demonstrable use of clinical audit to improve practice.
