About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Analyst to join our team at Yankee Candle. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will play a critical role in analyzing and optimizing our transportation spend to drive business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate monthly transportation costs to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and drive business results.
  • Build and maintain relationships with carriers and other stakeholders to negotiate rates and services.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of transportation strategies to support business objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in transportation or logistics, with a strong understanding of transportation costs and processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive business decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics software.
