Job Opportunity: Cruise Retail Travel Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cruise Retail Travel Consultant to join our team at C&M Travel Recruitment. As a Cruise Retail Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for selling cruise holidays face-to-face and over the phone to customers, ranging from Mediterranean to long-haul cruising holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell Cruise Holidays: You will be responsible for selling cruise holidays to customers, including up-selling additional extras and suggesting those that complement the customer's package.
  • Switch Selling: You will be required to switch sell sold-out destinations or holidays to customers.
  • Tailor-Made Packages: You will need to tailor-make packages to meet the customer's needs.
  • Sell Cruise Companies: You will be responsible for selling a full range of suitable cruise companies to customers.

Requirements:

  • Travel Sales Experience: You will need to have experience working in a travel sales role, preferably with a travel company.
  • Target Driven: You will need to be target-driven and determined to succeed in this role.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Customer Service: You will need to have excellent customer service skills to provide a high level of service to customers.
  • Cruise Knowledge: You will need to have knowledge of cruise holidays and be able to advise customers on the best options for their needs.

Working Hours and Benefits:

  • Full-Time or Part-Time: We are offering a full-time or part-time position, with a minimum of 4 days per week.
  • No Weekends: You will not be required to work on weekends or bank holidays.
  • Holiday Allowance: You will be entitled to 5 weeks' holiday allowance per year.
  • Parking and Transport: Parking is available on-site, and the office is close to a train station.
