About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Grant Programme Manager to lead our Homes England Grant Programmes, including the Wayfarer Consortium programme, and deliver outstanding results by contributing to the delivery of over 10,000 new affordable homes by 2030.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Development Team, Wayfarer Consortium Members, and Homes England to manage the Abri & Wayfarer Partnership's affordable housing grant funding development programme, including bids and claims for funding and the preparation of reports on programme delivery, audit programmes, and compliance risk.

Key responsibilities will include confidently leading on all grant funding and compliance-related procedures, providing oversight, guidance, and support to the Grant Programme Team, and partnering with external funders, stakeholders, and agencies to build on existing relationships and identify new opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of the management of Homes England funded affordable housing projects and programmes, grant funding conditions, and the Homes England compliance audit. They will also be able to interpret and understand complex land contracts, building contracts, and development agreements.

Strong influencing and communication skills, as well as the ability to problem-solve and interrogate information, are essential for this role. If you have a proven track record of leading a team and driving results, we want to hear from you.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of managing Homes England funded affordable housing projects and programmes
