About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Exercise Therapist to join our Physiotherapy Team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As an Exercise Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing exercise intervention to patients attending the Living with and Beyond Cancer service across our Eastern and Northern hospital sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exercise therapy to patients with symptoms relating to breathlessness, fatigue, deconditioning, exercise, and motivation.
- Deliver group exercise classes and provide rehabilitation to patients in both 1:1 and group settings.
- Support patients on a cancer pathway and work closely with Consultants, Specialist Nurses, Dieticians, and Physiotherapists.
- Be flexible to follow up patients as required and maintain accurate records of patient progress.
