About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Exercise Therapist to join our Physiotherapy Team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As an Exercise Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing exercise intervention to patients attending the Living with and Beyond Cancer service across our Eastern and Northern hospital sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exercise therapy to patients with cancer-related symptoms, including breathlessness, fatigue, and deconditioning.
- Deliver group exercise classes and one-to-one sessions to patients with varying levels of mobility and fitness.
- Work closely with Consultants, Specialist Nurses, Dieticians, and Physiotherapists to develop and implement exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient goals and develop personalized exercise plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for patients.
