About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Exercise Therapist to join our Physiotherapy Team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As an Exercise Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing exercise intervention to patients attending the Living with and Beyond Cancer service across our Eastern and Northern hospital sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exercise therapy to patients with cancer-related symptoms, including breathlessness, fatigue, and deconditioning.
- Deliver group exercise classes and one-to-one sessions to patients with varying levels of mobility and fitness.
- Work closely with Consultants, Specialist Nurses, Dieticians, and Physiotherapists to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Assess patients' needs and develop personalized exercise plans to improve their quality of life.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust exercise plans as needed.
