Electrical Project Manager - Overseeing Electrical Systems Implementation


An experienced Electrical Project Manager is required to lead the design and deployment of CCTV and Telecom systems across a network of rail facilities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning: Formulate comprehensive project plans that encompass timelines, budgets, and resource distribution.
  • Coordination: Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure the smooth integration of electrical systems.
  • Compliance: Guarantee that all electrical systems adhere to local regulations and safety protocols.
  • Installation and Testing: Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Documentation: Maintain precise and thorough project documentation and records.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any challenges that arise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality assurance checks and system validations to confirm the safety and functionality of electrical installations.
  • Project Management: Oversee project development, manage procurement processes, and ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Work Planning: Organize work schedules, provide progress updates, lead quality assurance efforts, and manage project handover.

Person Specification/Requirements:
  • Proven experience in electrical work, with a focus on project management and a practical approach.
  • Background in electrical engineering or electrician roles.
  • Capability to execute commissioning tasks.
  • Experience with CCTV installation and telecom systems.
  • Preferably, experience in railway-related projects.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
