Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Operations Manager to join our team at Morgan Ryder Associates. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all electrical equipment and services at our manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance, service, repair, and upgrade of all electrical equipment necessary for manufacturing operations.
- Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Support the development and implementation of electrical maintenance strategies and procedures.
- Manage and coordinate electrical contractor activities, including selection, scheduling, and supervision.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including permits to work, risk assessments, and training documentation.
- Conduct training and auditing programs for electrical maintenance personnel.
- Purchase and manage electrical equipment, including high-voltage, low-voltage, variable speed drives, and programmable logic controllers.
- Investigate and resolve electrical equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Provide technical support and training to electrical maintenance personnel.
Requirements:
- Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
- High-voltage qualification (AP15) or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of electrical equipment and power supply in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office tools.
