Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at The Botanical Rooms, a luxurious restaurant located within The Newt in Somerset estate. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional service to our guests, and leading a team of front-of-house staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of service, food quality, and customer satisfaction are met.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of front-of-house staff, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional service.
  • Customer Experience: Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, ensuring that every guest has a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.
  • Financial Management: Manage the restaurant's budget, controlling costs and ensuring that financial targets are met.
  • Inventory and Supply Chain: Oversee the management of inventory, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that the restaurant is well-stocked and equipped to meet demand.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service, ensuring that every dish meets our culinary standards.
