Job Description

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This exciting opportunity is with a leading company who has a new contract available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate an HGV 1 vehicle in accordance with all guidelines and regulations.
  • Complete scheduled deliveries and collections promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure the safe and secure transportation of goods throughout each journey.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and conduct thorough vehicle checks.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with both team members and customers.

Requirements:

  • A valid UK HGV Class 1 licence.
  • A CPC card and a valid tachograph (tacho) card.
  • Proven experience in a similar role as an HGV Class 1 Driver.
  • A good understanding of traffic laws and regulations.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime when required.
