Position Overview:

We are currently seeking experienced and dependable HGV Class 1 Drivers for a temp to perm opportunity. This is an exciting role with a prominent company that has secured a new contract.

Drivers will be responsible for loading and unloading goods, with training provided on moffet vehicles, which includes additional pay. The role involves making 1 to 2 collections or deliveries to business hubs, with 34 days of paid training included.

Work Schedule:

Shifts are scheduled from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Complete scheduled deliveries and collections efficiently.
  • Ensure the safe and secure transportation of goods.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries and vehicle inspections.
  • Comply with traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers.

Qualifications:

  • Valid UK HGV Class 1 license.
  • CPC card and taco card required.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar driving role.
  • Strong knowledge of traffic regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime.
